As soon as he reached 18 and was allowed in the front door, he had moved out into the night clubs of London and Brighton, UK. After making a lucky escape from an office job in marketing in 2003, he attended Brighton University and started focusing on studio production work. Three years later he landed the front of house position at the legendary Zap club in Brighton supporting acts such as Groove Armada, DJ Format, Fat Boy Slim, Giles Peterson, Bocka Shade, Iain Brown, The Roots and Roni Size. This was a great time to learn to swim and a year later he found himself mixing Kano's live tracks at Soho studios in London, followed by a tour with the artist in the UK for the next two years. His musical influences have led Q-Krafts DJ sets to be a mixture of electro house, drum and bass and dubstep , (watch this space for upcoming productions).
